Welcome to our Adventures in Home Schooling! We follow the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education fairly closely, with my own ideas and creations fitting in here and there. We love home education for our family and hope that as you join us now and again you will see a real family striving to serve the Lord and love each other along the way!
"Thought breeds thought; children familiar with great thoughts take as naturally to thinking for themselves as the well-nourished body takes to growing; and we must bear in mind that growth, physical, intellectual, moral, spiritual, is the sole end of education." ~ Charlotte Mason

I have to tweek my Blog
I created this Blog a year or so ago. I love blogs but I'm not all that computer savy so I'm not sure how to add pics and make it look prettier. The idea of a blog fascinates me. So I am wondering for those of you who blog, do you update it a couple of times a week? Is it more like a journal?? And how do you make it look so pretty??? :) I'd love to hear ideas.

I updated my homeschool blog whenever I have something to say. I also participate in weekly things, like Book Sharing Monday and Wordless Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteYou could come over and I could show you how to add photos and make it "pretty"...I would be happy to help ;)
Awww, I would love to do that Alex, thank you so much. When we come back from holiday I will certainly take you up on that offer! :) I have decided that FB will be limited this year and I'll be blogging more our HS journey instead. I'd love to participate in Book Sharing Monday and wordless Wednesday! :) I've seen a couple of fellow HS participate in that on their FB links.
ReplyDeleteMy blog started off as a way to keep my family updated on life in general since we are so far apart and for them to see updated pics of the kids often. I think it is a neat way to let others 'peek' into your life and share common struggles, experiences, and lessons that God is teaching you. You never know who you are reaching and touching! I can step you through adding pics if you need help.
